WHAT DOES A SPIRITUAL FAMILY MEANS TOO YOU?

I ask myself this question and it took me a minute to get this answer, that I have come up

with.The first thing I like to say is that before becoming HPS of this Temple. I was

hearing the statement of " you cannot choose your birth family" But then I would hear a lot of

people say even me for that matter.That this Temple UVUP has become my family. It is a family

that we have all chosen to be apart of. So deep down inside, I would really like to know,

what does it really mean to you " My Family". As we are rebuilding the foundation of this

Temple. Sometimes, we have to go back to the beginning of the basic of what draw us here

in the first place. What was our heart beating and feeling at the time and what was our

vision that we was seeing at that time. We know what our meaning of having a birth family is.

But what about our spiritual family?

To be spiritual is not necessary meaning to be religious. But to be on a journey of returning to

the center of one's self. To become whole and at oneness with a peace of mind.

We are a group of people who have come from all walk's of life and being on our spiritual

path. Somehow, we have stumble upon this Temple UVUP as a dwelling place. Where we feel that

others are like minded as us. A place of a social group within a society, Where we are

sharing our goals and values and hopefully long term commitments to one another. For we are

all one and the same, sharing a common thing

As my spiritual family, I look at Temple UVUP as a place for spiritual healing, Too help

those who are awaking. To bring unity and caring for the warfare of others. A place to give

hope and guidance and wisdom. A place of belonging. A place of fellowship and love.

Many of us have come to this place in seeking for answer for that very thing that would

bring about wholeness to us from within. As a spiritual family. We cannot forget who we are

and what our path is about. And certainly we cannot deny others their path as well.

As for me, I don't know my real family. My family is who ever it is at that time. But when I

followed the path as I do today, I have come to choosing my spiritual family and that is

you, as well as along with those here in Rockford. As for me, I am My brother and sister

keeper. As my spiritual family and blood family. We have to look beyond the flaw of man

kind. For we are all learning. For the most we are all on a journey.. some say that "love

cover a multitude of sin" or maybe not so much a sin, but or weakness.. Now it does not mean

let people walk all over ya. just thought I say that. But if we can let your love or our

love flow within this spiritual Family that we have found.

Any way! LOL This is just some of my thoughts on my aspect of my spiritual family is too me.
Again please do share your thoughts on what a spiritual family really means to you. But in

this let us act upon this very thing in rebuilding our foundation as a real family

im just learning about this whole spiritual body thing and stuff but a spiritual family sounds like a nice thing to have

For me being here is a famiy that i knew i was going to enjoy. I met JP in his yaho group and saw that this was here..and as i have had no contact with any othe vampires for 20 years i was intrigued and happy knowing that it was way more than i knew. I like the thought of having a spiritual family as it ads something to me that I have been missing. I went through plenty of grops online and knew which oone where good for me and which ones were not. As I was lacking in this family I found that i needed to make pece with myself and get my head staright. Now that I have I can thank JP for meeting hime has given me a different look on my vamprirism and my whol practices as a whole.
