Vampyrism, emotional vampirism, and turning?

Turning is brought up in groups often as well as people asking if Vampyrism can be learned and taught. So that got me thinking. I think some people could learn to act as a Vampyr as Wytches often manipulate energy all the time and normal humans could learn to take energy from people (as I don't believe most proclaimed “emotional vampires” are true vampires but emotional people who drain people either by accident or on purpose usually are not (this doesn't make them real Vampyres.)

Life Force Givers or those who have had too much energy taken from them could THINK that they could have been turned into a Vampyr. They may even have symptoms of Vampyrism but this is only temporary. Once they get the energy back they will be fine. None of this makes anyone a Vampyr of course. Vampyres, as most in the Community should know, are born and not created. Of course, some people may awaken late and the taking of their energy or blood may hasten their Awakening. Some believe a Vampyres genes or will power (as the gods we are) could however cause one to become a Vampyr especially if the feed on the person enough. That MAY be possible if they are strong enough and the person wants it enough.

Here is something I posted on a group where they were discussing turning and the whole works. There were a bunch of RPGers saying that "I feed so deeply that I pull their soul out, and thats how I turn humans" and "My grandfather was bitten by an undead in Africa, and he turned me" so I thought I would set the record straight. Feel free to tell me what you think of it.

No, it is not possible for a human to become a Vampyr. No, it is not possible for a human to become a Vampyr. No, it is not possible for a human to become a Vampyr. I will say it again if I need to. No, it is not possible for a human to become a vampyr. You are born. You awaken. Can a human learn to steal energy? Yes. Will a human suffer the Hunger if he/she doesn't feed? No. Does the ability to steal energy make them a vampyr? Absolutely.... Not. It just makes them an evolved leech. There is no way in heaven or in hell, save for the blackest of magicks, to become a Vampyr. And would it be worth it? Would it be worth it to tear out one of your energy centers? I mean, you won't have the immortality you want, despite what these RPGers say, you won't be super fast, super strong, incredibly beautiful, or disintegrate in sunlight. True, we have some advantages over the normal people, such as the fact that we are natural magicians and we can claim Lilith as our Dark Mother, but overall, it sucks. The only good thing we have, besides the natural fear that the legends have given us, which protects us, and the overall sense of community we have, is the fact that we are natural magicians. Because we are magickal creatures, and we have practiced magick and our Vampyrism throughout all our past lives, we can only get stronger. We are not as awesome as you think we are. We do not turn into bats and fly away at our leisure. We do not stalk the streets hunting another human to feed from. In fact, we are quite human. In body at least. Which is the source of our hunger: A Vampyr soul born into a human body. This body simply cannot produce the incredible amount of energy we need to keep ourselves going. So we feed, be it from blood or energy. And that is the source of the Hunger. It is not from some drive to be immortal and bed ten million women throughout the centuries. It is the primal need that exists in all of us: The need to live.

I have been studying a lot about spiritual Evolution and allthough humans do not normally need the energy if they are just human there are many religions that show us how to evolve into gods but that takes many life times and taking from your donor may trigger there awakening if they are a Vampyr. No you cannot become a vampyr by drinking a Vampyres blood after being almost completely drained of yours; that will just land you in the hospital and maybe kill you. Though you may be able to Spiritual Evolve into a Vampyr but that is a long and complicated process that require learening how to take energy from higher sources but it usually takes a very long time and most cannot do it...

I myself don't believe that someone can be turned into a vampyre, we must be Born of the Blood. It can awaken at different stages in our life, and we may realize that we are different from others, but not know why, and not even know that we are a Vampyre until something Sparks the Flame of the Beacon within. I myself am born a Vampyre as since a very early age in childhood i knew that i was different, i could not mingle with other kids in school, i was always withdrawn. I Hated the Sun, as the Sun drained my energy and gave me bad Rashes and Migraines. I always loved to eat Raw Chopmeat, and Drink the Blood from the Meats, even eating Raw Bacon was a favorite. Also my Hands are always Ice Cold while others around me are warm. I also was always drawn to the Cemetery, i always wanted to be around the " Dead ", and i even wanted to live in a Cemetery. I Loved all Vampyre shows from the TV Series " Dark Shadows " which i never missed an episode. Everyday after school i waited for 4:00 PM channel 7 just to watch Dark shadows. I loved Vampyre movies, Ghost Stories, anything to do with the " Dead " or the " Living Dead ". This went on through out my life, till it came to the point that at an Adult age i was actually Seeking out Vampyres. Then i came across an Add in " Fate Magazine " saying Vampires exist join us. It was an Add from the " TOV " i joined read their vampyre bible, did my Communion and that was how my Full awakening came about.

The Temple of the Vampire believes you have to take energy from others and give it to the Vampyre gods in order to become a Vampire or that is what I got out of there Vampire Bible but its all fiction to me. There are still several Members of the Vampire community who belive in turning and other crazy stuff...

I am guilty of sometimes draining people..but not on purpose. I am just psychic. I have experienced clairaudiance and confusing telepathy. The way I pierce into people scares even myself, I hate projecting things....I'm learning to channel that better. I would like to understand it more. This community is very open and I enjoy reading about people's experiences though. Though I'm pretty sure I am not a vampire. I'm not positively sure....that's another reason why I'm here. What's hard is when I sense people's pain I can feel it. I am probably a natural empath, I just have to block it off often because life is so stressful or sometimes-- it's just dead...the energy...completely gone. I used to flush up around people and would notice my skin heat up and I was so highly energized. This probably caused problems for me in the long run. I would like to explain this, I think to me it's more of a natural drawing in of psychic elements or energies...like soaking up the sun or the rain.

I do it all the time and have only recently realized that I never realized it wasnt natural to others...though I have had a few instances of being around someone and suddenly being immersed in energy while my eyes were closed, tingling sensations, like I was being drugged. I don't know if that is similar or not but then later I would get stressed out. I've attempted drawing energy...during a period when I thought i was being awakened I consciously shut off the process because I got extremely overwhelmed.... now it's not like energy for fatigue it's more like energy that just flows...which makes me think more psychic. Sorry for going off on a tangent there. I sometimes doubt my sanity about the whole thing....
